# Hotend > Control and slice your 3D printer from your phone, from anywhere — no VPN, no port-forwarding. Hotend is a hosted web app (installable PWA) for controlling and cloud-slicing 3D printers remotely from a phone, tablet, or any browser. Klipper/Moonraker printers are supported today; OctoPrint, PrusaLink and Bambu Lab drivers are in progress. ## What it does - Remote control (free forever): live temperatures, start/pause/cancel, motion, macros, live webcam, emergency stop — over the internet, no VPN or port-forwarding. - Cloud slicing (paid): upload or find a model, slice it on Hotend's servers with your printer's real OrcaSlicer profile, and send the g-code straight to the machine — no PC, no USB stick. - AI model generation: turn a text prompt or a photo into a printable 3D model. - Timelapses (no plugin), print history, AI failure detection (free on every plan), built-in filament/spool tracking, print scheduling, multi-printer and sharing. ## How it works A tiny open-source Go agent runs on the printer's Raspberry Pi/board and dials OUT to Hotend's relay, so nothing is exposed to the internet and there is no port to forward. Install: curl -sSL https://app.hotend.app/install | bash ## Compatibility Any Klipper + Moonraker printer today: Voron, QIDI, Sovol, Creality K-series, Elegoo, RatRig, Anycubic Kobra, FLSun, and 100+ more. OctoPrint, PrusaLink and Bambu Lab support is in progress. ## Pricing (USD) - Free: unlimited remote control and monitoring for 1 printer, including AI failure detection. Cloud slicing and AI generation are paid features; Pro has a 7-day free trial. - Pro: US$11/month or US$99/year (save 25%) — unlimited slicing, 150 AI credits/month, 2 printers. - Studio: US$25/month or US$225/year (save 25%) — 5 printers, fleet view, printer sharing, 400 AI credits/month. - Business: contact support@hotend.app — unlimited printers and credits, priority support. All prices in US dollars; Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record and bills in USD. Pro comes with a 7-day free trial — nothing is billed until the trial ends, cancel anytime. ## How it compares OctoEverywhere and Obico do remote access and failure detection, and so does Hotend. Neither of them slices. With Hotend you upload a model on your phone, it slices against your printer's real profile, and the print starts. That's the difference. ## Links - App: https://app.hotend.app - Open-source agent: https://github.com/hotend-3dprinting/hotend-agent
